I would like to Blog my
learning journey of ED403: Innovations in Learning Technologies &
Professional Practice before my ePortfolio designing. As a Teacher, education
is something I am always passionate about and is a part of my life. As I
mentioned in ED401 ePortfolio, I would love to learn new things from my peers,
colleagues and friends. This course is the last course out of the
three compulsory courses in the PGCTT (Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary
Teaching). This course provided me innovative pedagogical practices with
technological advancements within work-based learning environments. This
course also enriched my knowledge on the overview of the pedagogical foundation
required to facilitate a technology-mediated learning environment. I explored different
learning technologies and how high-tech innovations are altering exercises in
higher education. I established and utilized Open Educational Resources (OER)
and e-facilitation techniques for my learning contexts as a Pacific Island in
higher education. Besides, I honed my skills using a selection of online
methodologies/approaches and gained experience in reviewing good online practices.
I also blogged (FIVE BLOGS) my learning in ED403 in Blogger. Please see the
link provided for reading all my blogs: https://rameshsubramani2020.blogspot.com/.
Soon I will create and design my journey n ED403 through ePorfolio where one
can see my activity-reflection for formative and summative
assessment towards continuous professional development.
Overall, it was an
enjoyable, innovative and informative journey. I met many knowledge rich people
and found some good friends. Course coordinator Dr. Shikha Raturi, team members
of Aristole, friends and colleagues from ED403 are very supportive,
understanding and valuable members. It is my pleasure for being a part of this
course and I indeed learnt a lot.
At last, as an
academician I am motivated to share my knowledge and experiences of pedagogical
training that learnt through PGCTT with my current and prospective students.
PGCTT has allowed me to mold as a complete trained academician.
Cheers,
Ramesh Subramani
